Title: RN - PCU 
Duration: 3+Months(Extendable)
Work Location: Coos Bay, OR
Shift Timings: Days (3*12)
Requirement: Active RN License, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS
Job Description: Monitoring patients closely for any changes in condition or deterioration. Administering medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous medications, titrating drips, and ensuring proper dosages and routes of administration. Ensuring patients understand their care plans and can participate in their own recovery process. Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients. Utilizing technical skills such as interpreting cardiac telemetry, performing electrocardiograms (EKGs), and operating specialized equipment for patient monitoring and treatment. Advocating for patients' needs and preferences, ensuring they receive high-quality, compassionate care that respects their dignity and autonomy. Using critical thinking skills to assess complex patient situations, prioritize care interventions, and make timely decisions to promote patient safety and well-being. Responding effectively to medical emergencies within the PCU, including cardiac arrests, respiratory distress, and other urgent situations. Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment in electronic medical records. Participating in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care processes, safety protocols, and clinical outcomes within the PCU.
Requirements: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, Phlebotomist, Active RN License
Education: State RN License, Primary Source Verification, AHA BLS, IV/Phlebotomy experience, AHA ACLS
