Overview:
40 hrs/wk. Responsible for assessing learning needs; implementing effective educational offerings; maintenance of current learning resources and evaluation of outcomes; teaching AHA classes; coordination of and assistance in/teaching educational offerings; assists with development of education calendar; assists with programs including hospital orientation, nurse and CNA orientation, preceptorship, nurse residency, annual competency plans, skills labs, in services, mock drills, sim lab, Elsevier, clinical site affiliations, externship, clinical shared model, nurse mentor, professional development program and apprentice program; achieve and maintain appropriate certifications. Current NE RN license. BSN/MSN required or in progress; certifications per department requirement; three years nursing experience required; acute patient care and critical care teaching experience preferred.
