Summary Department: 3rd Floor Med/Surg Shift Timings:19:00-07:30 Hours Monday to friday (3 Days/12 Hours Shift) Per Week: 36 Hours??WDM provides the feel of a small, community hospital, with the resources of a major metropolitan area hospital. We specialize in orthopedic and bariatric surgeries, as well as other specialty and general surgeries. Also found in WDM are two inpatient care units that provide care to a wide variety of diagnosis. Our telemetry unit regularly provides cardiac drips, treats and manages arrhythmias, and works with the interdisciplinary team to provide care and education to CHF patients. Our medical/surgical unit takes anything and everything that comes through the Emergency Department, creating a constant learning environment and a variety of diagnosis, ensuring you never get bored.?? Roles & Responsibilities ??Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
