Our 17 bed unit sees a variety of patients with acute medical conditions such as endocarditis, pancreatitis, CHF exacerbations, and failure to thrive. We are a welcoming, passionate team. Responsibilities:
The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing services
Assists the patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization.
Collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals, the Registered Nurse prepares the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care.

Qualifications We require:
Current WA State RN license is required. CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing. Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements Virginia Mason offers much more than competitive compensation and benefits.
