Retail Store Manager

Position Summary We are looking for a highly experienced  Retail Store Manager  to join our passionate and hardworking team out of our newest location in Manhattan Beach CA. As the  Retail Store Manager , you will work directly under the CEO/Co-owner, driving the financial sales goals of our newest store. You will lead by example, upholding the highest standards in customer service, and ensure the new store operates smoothly and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Own the day-to-day responsibilities of a high-volume sales environment. Your main function and KPI will be sales. Driving sales targets and increasing the average sale. Oversee your Assistant Manager and Sales Associates, ensuring optimal performance, product knowledge, and customer satisfaction; coaching all employees in tactics to attract and retain customers. Manage the scheduling, training, and development of all new hires. Maintain expert-level product knowledge by familiarizing yourself with store inventory. Drive the development of process improvements, link warehoused inventory into the store, track inventory performance, assist with restocking and organizing items, as well as overall inventory management. Demonstrate a professional and warm attitude that encourages a strong sense of teamwork at all times, without exception Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years in a Retail Store Manager role (or equivalent) at a high-volume fashion retail company, preferred. Proven ability to lead a small to medium sized Sales team in order to exceed sales goals and increase the average sale. A passion for fashion and obsession with selling. We need a top seller to lead by example and elevate their Sales team. A true leader with a positive, can-do attitude, and a proactive mindset. Must have the desire to wear many hats and jump in to help wherever needed - motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. Excellent team building and leadership skills and proven experience coaching employees in tactics to attract and retain clientele. Familiarity with inventory control systems and procedures. An outgoing and engaging personality - undeniable ability to initiate contact with the customers and identify their shopping needs.
