This is a Summer 2023 Position Summit memories are reinforced through the sale of souvenirs and gifts from our growing retails spaces - our sales associates are vital to delivering customer service that provides a unique shopping experience and helps drive sales. While all positions require working as part of a team to reach department and site objectives, your individual responsibilities center around exhibiting superior customer service and selling skills, keeping the store clean, attractive and stocked with merchandise, as well as accurate transaction processing.
Reports to: Retail Administrator
Principle Responsibilities: Provide cheerful and helpful service to all customers Operate the Retail Pro POS (register) system Process sales, including cash & credit card transactions Restock inventory Help maintain a clean and safe shopping environment Provide camp information and directions to guests. The stores will become the places that are easily accessible to guest to ask questions. Any other duties as assigned by full-time staff and/or direct supervisor Qualifications & Training: Solid interpersonal communication abilities Organized and detail-oriented Ability to multi-task Ability to use computer and Point-of-Sale software Ability to accurately count cash, make change, count inventory Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service Honest, punctual, dependable Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America 18 Years old or older Physical Requirements: Must be comfortable standing most of your workday. Must meet the Summit Bechtel Reserve's high adventure height/weight requirements as laid out in the Summit BSA Health & Medical Record Uniform: Summit Staff Uniform
