Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain account relationships• Meet personal sales targets• Resolve customer problems• Inform customers of new products, services, and prices• Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products• Develop business plans• Contribute to sales bids and proposals• Manage broker network• Handle complex issues• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience• Minimum four years of related work experience• Ability to travel up to 40%• Valid driver's license• Knowledge of the meat industry with retail customers• Motivated self-starter with excellent communication• Experience with category management data• Minimum five years of experience in the Retail channel• Previous Retail customer account management experience• Familiarity with retailers in the southeast US region• Customer relationship management software experience• Previous experience with distributors in the region• Beef or protein experience• Work experience with a major U.S. processor or retail grocery chain
