OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE: Responsible for reviewing and ensuring accurate initial disclosures of home loan files. Accurately process multiple loan files concurrently to meet regulatory guidelines. Ensure that all home loan documentation is complete, accurate and verified while complying with company policy and secondary market guidelines. Meet and exceed bank service standards while complying with bank procedures and security protocols. Demonstrating respect and professionalism, being prompt, and accurate through the loan process. Help our employees realize their best lives. RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize sales training skills to provide outstanding customer service. Track all loans entered in the Loan Origination System to ensure the Loan Estimate and other early disclosures are disclosed within the regulatory guidelines that are required within 3 business days. Exercise sound judgement in reviewing loan files. Complete the initial review of home loan applications ensuring information meets loan policy, loan program and compliance guidelines. Set initial review conditions in the electronic filing system for documentation needed to support the application. Complete rate lock requests within secondary market. Verify rate with current product & pricing. Process redisclosures of loan application as needed following regulatory guidelines. Order and track required documentation on loan files. Including, but not limited to, appraisals, flood determinations, title work, homeowner's insurance, VOEs and VODs Request F&M employee orders following proper channels. Verify title work and flood information for accuracy as needed to support the loan application. Act as liaison between the customer, home loan originator, realtor, title company, and other vendors to gather needed information to complete loan file. Update realtor and HLO weekly on progress to ensure contract closing dates are met. Represent F&M professionally in all dealings with customers, realtors, and other vendors to strengthen our brand in the communities we serve. Monitor loan files for denials, withdraws or counteroffers. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding customer's personal and financial information. Attend meetings and training sessions as requested. Comply and satisfactorily pass tests for bank policy and regulatory compliance that apply to position. Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in business or 2 years' experience in banking and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-2 years of experience working in a Loan Origination System or similar banking system. Encompass experience a plus.
