Responsibilities
• Executes receiving and merchandising standards• Ensures Associates are processing efficiently and effectively• Creates a positive customer experience• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes merchandise processing• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles• Maintains proper tagging, hanging, securing, and coding of merchandise• Ensures efficient flow of goods to the sales floor• Monitors team productivity and provides coaching• Organizes and rotates back stock for replenishment• Maintains cleanliness and recovery standards for the backroom• Ensures compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs• Communicates effectively with management and Associates• Provides ongoing recognition and feedback• Partners with Management on Associate training needs• Promotes credit and loyalty programs• Supports store shrink reduction goals and programs• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a risk-free environment• Performs other assigned duties
Requirements
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends• Superior organizational skills with attention to detail• Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously• Adaptable to changes in direction or unexpected situations• Strong communication skills• Ability to train others• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience
