Responsibilities
• Contact customers with overdue accounts to facilitate payments• Negotiate payment arrangements with customers• Maintain accurate records of collection activities• Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries• Build and maintain positive customer relationships• Generate and analyze reports on collection activities• Ensure compliance with debt collection laws and regulations• Prepare and review documentation related to debt collection• Collaborate with management team to provide updates on collection performance• May be assigned other duties as needed
Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree a plus• Proven experience in debt collection or similar role in retail industry• Strong negotiation and communication skills• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing debt collection• Proficiency in using collection software and Microsoft Office• Excellent organizational and time management abilities• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail• Ability to use standard computer and phone systems• Must be able to travel to remote locations
