Responsibilities
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service• Process check-out, exchange, and return transactions• Maintain the professional and clean appearance of the store showroom• Help promote and set-up for store events, display modules, specials and more• Answer incoming calls and help customers in a professional and courteous manner• Collaborate with other store team and warehouse team members on various responsibilities• Stock and replenish merchandise, assist with inventory responsibilities• May be trained and certified on forklift and filling propane responsibilities (based on age)• Work safely aligned with the cooperative's guidelines and regulations• Assist with customer needs on deliveries, pick-ups, etc.
Requirements
• Must be at least 16 years of age• Must have a valid driver's license• Willing and able to work on occasional Saturdays• Prefer six (6) months of experience in a retail environment providing customer service and operating point of sale equipment• Prefer prior knowledge, working experience or hands-on experience in farming, agriculture, animal health, animal science, planting, gardening, or a related field• A passion and enthusiasm to work with customers• Effective communication skills both oral and written• Ability to focus and work safely when operating equipment and helping customers• Knack for relationship building and problem-solving• Desire to learn, grow, and work as a cross-functional team member with other divisions within EverGRO
