Restoration/Project SuperintendentG2 Restoration is a full-service restoration company servicing the North Texas region. We are family owned and treat our employees like family too. We specialize in a broad scope of construction and repair services for commercial and residential properties. We are currently looking for a Restoration Project Superintendent to join our team.Summary:The primary duty of the Restoration/Project Superintendent is to provide on-site coordination for all phases of construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, materials, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.Superintendent shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job-site safety, with close monitoring from your direct supervisor.Reports:Project ManagerResponsibilities:Conduct daily meetings regarding job goals and safety.Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work.Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to Project Manager for resolution.Maintain daily log (in CRM) of activities on the jobsite.Perform Superintendent Duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously.Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.Walk all units on project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning as needed.Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors regarding quality of work or scheduling.Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.Perform, identify, complete job progress and punch list identification prior to the final walk.Interpret, understand, and execute standard building plans.Perform preconstruction meeting with the Project Manager.Gather project material, submittals and maintain records of approvals at the job site.Opening the jobsite at the beginning of the day and securing the jobsite at the end of the day. (Onsite visit is preferential, phone is acceptance if workload dictates.)Requirements:Experience working in the construction/restoration industry is preferred.Proven ability to remain organized while working under difficult conditions.Strong communication skillsMust be able to multitask and prioritize.Must be a team player.Must be detail oriented.Must be a self-starter and self-motivated.Must be organized.Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization and to interact professionally with customers.High School diploma2 years' experience in supervising construction projects.Must be able to move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.Pay: $50,000 to $70,000 AnnuallyBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision and Life InsurancePaid HolidaysVacation and Sick TimeOpportunity for AdvancementSchedule:Monday thru FridayWeekend availability
