A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTAURANT SHIFT MANAGER
In this position, you help our store manager run the overall operations of our food service establishment. Throughout your shift, you delegate tasks to each of our team members so that customers are cared for and food is served in a timely and efficient manner. When you work opening and closing shifts, you ensure that everything is completed according to our timelines. If we are busy or short-staffed, you jump in to help the team. You are experienced in all stations, and can effectively take orders, prepare food, recommend drinks, and handle payments. You love leading our team and take pride in the part you play in the success of our food service establishment!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESTAURANT SHIFT MANAGER
1+ years of food service experience
Ability to work weekends
Familiarity with the Toast, Inc. point of sale (POS) system would be a plus. Are you flexible and willing to help out where needed? Can you work with confidence in a fast-paced setting? Are you a self-motivated individual who can work towards achieving company goals? Can you show empathy while maintaining professional boundaries? Are you driven and determined? WORK SCHEDULE FOR A RESTAURANT SHIFT MANAGER
This restaurant management position can be full-time or part-time and typically works between the business hours of 10 AM - 11 PM, Sunday - Thursday, and between 10 AM - 1 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
