ID: ******** Shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM Description: Job Summary: Perform allaspects of respiratory care clinically and diagnostically that theCardiopulmonary department provides, such as adult ventilator care and criticalcare assessment, EKGs, general floor therapy, working with Neopuff support ofnewborns, arterial blood gas access, Pulmonary Function Testing, stress testingand holter monitoring/scanning.Essential Functions: Consistently uses an outward mindset and puts forth exemplary effort in accomplishing his/her goals and objectives in a manner that helps others to achieve their goals and objectives. Assumesresponsibility for first-line supervision of Certified Therapists in director sabsence. Performsand evaluates bedside spirometry, and pulmonary function tests. Performsarterial blood gas puncture. PerformsEKGs and holter scanning. Performsand evaluates EKG stress testing, if trained. Performscritical care ventilation and assessment. Determinesappropriateness of prescribed therapy and goals for identifiedpathophysiological state. Conductsprescribed therapeutic procedures. Collectsand evaluates additional pertinent clinical information by inspection,palpation, percussion, auscultation, and patient interview. Submission requirements: 2+ years of RRT - RequiredPlease noterotating lowcensus.
