Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory Therapist  UnityPoint at Home Cedar Rapids, IA Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Full-time benefits *10K Sign-on bonus offered! Respiratory Therapist will provide education/instruction on safe use of Home Medical Equipment including invasive and non-invasive ventilation, pap therapy, and other high acuity Respiratory Equipment in the home as well as retail setting. Ensures quality and safe delivery of services to patients according to plan of care. Uses equipment and supplies safely, effectively, and efficiently. Responsible for set up documentation and patient follow up as necessary. Develops a field of expertise by maintaining a working knowledge of third-party coverage. Maintains accurate and timely documentation of clinical records. Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist program. Previous experience preferred BCLS Certification Current Iowa R.C.P. license obtained after completion of entry-level RRT examination from NBRC Actively involved in obtaining RRT credential from National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
