As a Residential Superintendent, you will serve as the on-site leader and primary point of contact for all activities related to residential construction projects, ensuring that they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will lead a team of construction professionals, subcontractors, and vendors to oversee project execution from initiation to completion, to make certain that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with project stakeholders, manage resources effectively, and uphold company policies and procedures throughout the construction process.
Key responsibilities of the Superintendent :
* Overseeing project planning and scheduling, ensuring timelines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
* Managing subcontractors and suppliers, including negotiating contracts and resolving disputes.
* Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process.
* Monitoring quality control and conducting inspections to maintain high construction standards.
* Communicating effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address concerns and provide updates on project progress.
* Managing budget and cost control, including forecasting expenses and optimizing resource utilization to maximize profitability.
* Leading and supervising on-site personnel, providing guidance, training, and motivation to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
