The Adult Services' Supportive Housing Aging in Place (SHAIP) program's Residential Mental Health Worker is a direct care position that provides for the safety & well-being of each resident within the home and facilitates community involvement/interaction in cooperation with the residents, coworkers, and administration. The SHAIP Residential Mental Health Worker facilitates the implementation of general and specific household and individual routine/programming while servicing as a role model for the resident population. The SHAIP Residential Mental Health Worker provides a continuum of services, including system advocacy, informational/referral, supportive counseling, family and resident education, and crisis intervention/stabilization.

Schedule : Weekends 7 AM to 7 PM  Some job responsibilities include:
Develop and implement behaviorally measurable treatment plan for each resident in order to provide resident with appropriate services and/or interventions. Accurately assess resident needs and documents on progress notes form in Anasazi using the DAP format. Monitor service provision through intensive case management to ensure receipt of quality and appropriate services/interventions. Develop therapeutic alliances with older adults, works with residents to resolve issues of therapy relationships. Incorporate understanding of medication management as it supports the overall clinical plan. Supervise the self-administration of client medication. Ascertain through questions that clients' understand their prescribed medication – dose, side effects, etc., as guided by a registered nurse. Manage an effective team partnership, including co-counseling, team communication and role flexibility. Provide information/referral services to clients and families to ensure receipt of quality and appropriate services/resources. Adhere to all agency corporate compliance mandates including accuracy, timeliness and attention to detail. Complete all documentation requirements within determined timeframes; completes all forms, consistent with CGRC corporate compliance procedures. Complete all training and actively participates in required supervision in accordance with program and agency guidelines. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
