Start your application today!Responsibilities:Put organizational systems into place to ensure tools, vehicles, and equipment are well-maintained, and schedule maintenance if neededComply with all best-practice health and safety standards to prevent injuries and slowdowns at construction sites, and promptly report any safety regulation issuesDetermine the project deliverables and specifications, including the project scope, necessary project resources, and estimated labor needed by collaborating with clients, engineers, and architectsManage general contractors and construction workers and give guidance as needed to ensure high-quality project performanceKeep key stakeholders informed of the project's status by producing frequent progress reportsDetermine the project deliverables and specifications, including the project scope, necessary resources, anticipated labor requirements, and timelinesInform key stakeholders of any delays or issues with the status of a jobInterface with glaziers in order to provide details about the work they are scheduled to performInterface with glaziers at the end of the day to receive knowledge about the work that was performedEnsure that jobs correctly progress through their workflows in order to achieve lead time targetsDevelop processes in order to improve job processing techniquesAnalyze, track, and verify the amount and cost of labor sold and utilized on jobsUnderstand every detail about how a job is to be completed. Understand every part required for a jobPreserve the knowledge of discovered issues by documenting them in a central knowledge repositoryVerify, approve, and record purchasing invoices in order to perform job cost analysisProvide scheduling specifications (work duration, number of glaziers, glazier skillsets, site requirements, etc.) to the Schedulers so that they may coordinate work steps with customersQualifications:Finished training for OSHA 30 licenseIn-depth knowledge of the construction industry and entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principlesSuperb leadership capability, organizational skills, time-management abilities, and communication skillsPMP certification is a plusFamiliarity with construction project management software is highly valuedStrong communication skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and time-management skillsHigh level of comfort with logical reasoning and calculations involving fractionsDemonstrated exceptional attention to detailDemonstrated ability to be resourceful when solving problemsDesire to be successful within a team-oriented environmentMust have a desire to continually strive for improvementMust be able to juggle many simultaneousAbout Company:At Rex Glass, we specialize in custom residential and commercial glass and mirror products.
