Responsibilities
• Supervising subordinates and instructing them on various tasks• Creating a sense of teamwork and holding routine staff meetings• Assisting staff with residents' daily routines and activities• Coordinating and participating in special activities and outings• Monitoring staff's implementation of resident programs• Attending various meetings and serving as a member of the interdisciplinary team• Resolving employee and resident related issues• Providing training and orientation to new hires• Completing personnel actions and performance reviews• Managing home staffing ratios, schedules, and emergencies• Ensuring safety practices, incident management, and physical plant maintenance• Training staff on infection control policies and compliance• Ensuring staff's compliance with required trainings• Performing other related duties as required
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience• Valid Florida Driver's License• Flexible schedule and availability for on-call duties• Willingness to work additional days/hours as needed• Ability to pass background screening and fingerprinting• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds• Knowledge of problem-solving techniques• Computer skills (Microsoft Office or other office software)• Ability to work with a team and supervise people• Ability to prioritize and assign work• Effective verbal and written communication skills• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
