We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RCC to assist our Residents in our Community. You will be responsible for consulting with Residents and determining their healthcare needs, developing care plans, coordinating with patient-care services, and working with fellow Caregivers to give the best possible care.
Duties/Responsibilities: • Has awareness and practices in accordance with the regulations of the state
• Completes and/or reviews Resident ISP and UAI as needed
• Ensures all physician orders are completed and correct according to state regulations
• Reviews Resident charts for accuracy
• Practices good infection control and universal precautions
• Review new orders and MARS
• Checking and updating Eldermark and EMAR
• Orders, stores, and assists with medication according to current physician orders and community policies
• Performs medication mass as needed
• Assists with Resident care as much as needed
• Observes new admissions and communicates changes in Resident conditions
• Maintain Service plans
• Maintain current Resident records for each Resident including but not limited to, obtaining current physician orders, clarifying orders, and alert monthly charting
• Keeps Administrator informed of all departmental needs and issues
• Must attend and/or complete all assigned training to meet DSS regulations
• Responsible for keeping Resident information confidential; respecting Resident rights; respecting privacy
Job Qualification: • Must be certified as a Registered Medication aide or LPN
• Meet requirements imposed by the licensing authorities
• Must have good organizational and supervisory skills
• Must be willing to praise and discipline team members as appropriate
• Must have an acceptable criminal record check
• Documents TB screening
• Must have or complete CPR/1st aid within the first 60 days of employment
• Must perform tasks with grace; works cooperatively with supervisors and display willingness to assist co-workers
• Must be capable of performing the duties and responsibilities of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
