Responsibilities
• Develop a residential community-focused environment using developmental theories and Benedictine Values• Supervise, train, and evaluate student staff• Administer and interpret student conduct process• Implement departmental residential curriculum through programming and collaboration• Execute departmental projects and initiatives• Serve in an on-call rotation for after-hours support and crisis response• Support and assist with the overall Residential Life and Housing operations• Work in partnership with other college constituencies• Engage in ongoing professional and personal development
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of residence life and/or student development experience• At least 2 years' experience living in campus housing• Ability to work within a team and motivate others• Effective communication, organization, and human relations skills• Willingness to support the values of the Catholic, Benedictine tradition• Knowledge of student development theory• Leadership development skills and ability to practice shared leadership• Computer proficiency• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule• Must be able to live on campus• Must hold a valid US driver's license or obtain one prior to employment
