Cleveland Clinic's Department of Cancer Biology is looking to add a Research Student to their exceptional team of caregivers. The Department of Cancer Biology builds bridges and teams that drive the best ideas in basic and translational cancer biology and developmental therapeutics to achieve breakthrough advances in the prevention, treatment and cure of cancer. While working closely with research personnel, Research Students actively participate in a structured learning experience in a laboratory or clinical research setting. You'll quickly gain hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, clinical settings, data collection and analysis as well as other related skills to explore careers in biomedical and clinical research.

Responsibilities: Under direct supervision, student may conduct research in the laboratories and/or clinical setting Under direct supervision, student may perform data collection and analysis. Other duties as assigned. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be accepted/enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student. This position is NOT applicable to anyone who has completed all requirements for an undergraduate degree/diploma. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Languages: Certifications: NA Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Work Experience: None required. Students with previous research laboratory experience are often preferred. Physical Requirements: Normal physical requirements include good near visual acuity and color acuity. Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
