The Center for Public Partnerships and Research (CPPR) seeks a Research Project Specialist to execute various processes and tasks as directed for multiple applications created, owned, and managed by CPPR. CPPR specializes in research and evaluation, tech to practice, systems change, and social innovation work that supports our mission to optimize the well-being of children, youth, and families. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about impacting social change for good.
This position is on CPPR's Tech to Practice team, which specializes in harnessing the power of technology for use in social services, particularly in the areas of public health, child welfare, and early childhood. This team's impact is empowering social service professionals at state and local levels to use technology to improve efficiency in how they work, learn, and communicate. We develop and manage multiple applications including DAISEY, IRIS, and The Institute for Family Support Professionals. This position will provide support across applications.
Some tasks will be directly related to the applications including user access support, creating forms and questions, exporting and cleaning data, and executing other processes as directed. Other tasks will support the project teams including taking notes, tracking project deliverables and updates using applications such as Asana and/or Airtable, corresponding with application users via email, and supporting documentation needs using tools like Tango and wiki.
The successful applicant should be comfortable with technology and embrace learning how to use new or unfamiliar technology tools, platforms, and applications. While this position will not be conducting complex data analysis, familiarity and comfort with data and following documented processes are helpful. This position is contingent upon funding.
