(C2DREAM) is afederally funded center developed to understand and reduce disparities. In cardiovascular disease and related chronic conditions experiencedby BIPOC communities, including immigrants and refugees, across Minnesota. The Center for Chronic Disease Reduction and Equity Promotion AcrossMinnesota (C2REAM) is looking for a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as the Building Relationships AroundIndigenous Endurance (BRAID) Research Project Coordinator. This role will be instrumental in collaborating with leadership to plan andexecute BRAID research objectives. Additionally, the coordinator will support the C2DREAM Administrative Core (AD Core) by assisting incoordinating the monthly seminar series and annual health equity conference. We are seeking a candidate with strong project managementskills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with diverse communities on community-engaged researchstudies.
This role is hybrid, requiring 1-2 in-office days per week, with Tuesdays as our current in-office day. 70% -BRAID Project Coordinator:
Building Relationships Around Indigenous Endurance (BRAID) is a R01-level community-engagedresearch project that utilizes community-based participatory research. methods to engage urban Native American families in community-led,culturally grounded programs to promote youth physical activity and healthy eating.
Responsibilities include: Collaborate withresearch team members and community collaborators to develop project plans, timelines, and milestones. Coordinate meetings amongteam members, community collaborators/sponsors including schools and school districts, and the community coalition. Manage projectresources, including budgeting, procurement, and allocation of materials and equipment, as well as reconciling expenses. With thestudy leads, build recruitment and data collection approaches and infrastructure including through REDCap, Box, and other secure datacollection and storage software. Oversee the collection, organization, and analysis of research data, ensuring accuracy andcompliance with protocols. Coordinate submission and approval processes with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) via ETHOS and withschool district Research Evaluation and
Assessment processes. Ensure that research activities comply with institutional, ethical,and regulatory requirements. Evaluate project processes and implement improvements for enhanced community-centeredness andeffectiveness. Prepare annual progress reports for NIH and contribute to the development of presentations, and publications forpartners and funders. 30% - AD Core Events Coordinator:
Collaborate with the C2DREAM AD Core team andpartners to co-coordinate the monthly Health Equity Seminar Series and manage the logistics of the annual Health. Equity Conference.Additionally, manage any ad-hoc events that may arise throughout the year. 
Responsibilities include: Work with the C2DREAMand PHDR leadership team and staff to plan and schedule monthly health equity seminars, including identifying topics, securing. speakers,and coordinating logistics, including publicity and managing, registration. Collaborate with the C2DREAM leadership, staff, andconference planning committee to develop the conference program, theme, and agenda. Communicate with speakers to confirmparticipation, provide event details, and collect presentation materials. Coordinate venue selection, contract negotiations, andlogistical arrangements for events, including setting up virtual options. Manage registration processes, including onlineregistration systems and onsite check-in procedures. Oversee the production of event materials, including flyers, programs, signage,and promotional materials. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to arrange catering, audiovisual equipment, and otherconference-related services. Provide on-site support during events, including managing registration desks, handling inquiries andtroubleshooting any issues that arise. Assist in post-event activities, such as collecting feedback, compiling evaluations, andpreparing post-event reports. Expected  Salary Range: $23.97 to 26.17 hourly depending onqualifications and experience. Qualifications All required qualifications must be includedin the application materials Required Qualifications: BA/BS with at least 2 years of experience or acombination of related education and work experience to equal 6years Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborateeffectively with diverse stakeholders and across teams. team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Ethos, Salesforce, REDCap, Adobe Creative Cloudand Squarespace. Previous involvement with equity-focused programming. Prior experience working with research grants andcollaborating with Indigenous communities. About the Department
