Responsibilities
• Design and construct DNA vectors and tagging constructs• Transfect DNA vectors into parasites and perform drug selection and cell sorting• Utilize confocal techniques and analyze resulting data• Perform proximity labeling techniques and analyze Mass Spectrometry data• Contribute to grant applications and journal manuscripts• Train and mentor graduate students and post-doctoral trainees
Requirements
• Minimum of a baccalaureate degree in the field• Fluorescent microscopy experience• Ability to carry out experimentation and analyze data• Standing for long periods of time and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
