Job summary
Our client is recruiting for a Research Pilot in Laramie, WYPosition offers a hiring salary range of $80,000 to $90,000King Air experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
• Act as Pilots in Command for research flights• Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and planning activities• Prepare flight plans and logistics for research projects• Operate aircraft domestically and internationally• Attend training as needed• Maintain records and prepare reports• Communicate effectively with crew and passengers• Embrace a culture of safety• Fly aircraft in varying conditions and terrains• Demonstrate teamwork and focus on customer service
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in aviation• 3,000+ logged pilot hours• 2,000+ hours as pilot-in-command of multi-engine aircraft• 500+ hours in fixed-wing turbine aircraft• First-class FAA medical certificate within the last twelve months• Valid driver's license with compliant motor vehicle record• Knowledge of FAA rules and regulations• Prior experience in air freight, charter, research, etc.• Ability to operate technical equipment and test aircraft instrumentation
Key Skills Needed
• King Air experience• Knowledge of weather and atmospheric conditions• Ability to file flight plans• Effective communication with crew and passengers• Recognize and report safety concerns
