Responsibilities
• Direct all aspects of the laboratory, including personnel, operations, and regulatory compliance• Oversee quality control and assessment measures• Supervise staff and provide guidance and mentorship• Coordinate and plan laboratory work to meet objectives and deadlines• Interpret and oversee data characterizing cellular products• Assist core users with orders, special requests, and troubleshooting• Collaborate with internal and external partners to define project goals and allocate resources• Assist PI with data extraction, summarization, and presentation• Train new staff members on procedures and protocols• Oversee equipment verification and calibration
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in related field• 3-5 years of progressive experience in a research laboratory setting• 2-3 years of laboratory leadership experience• Graduate degree preferred• Proven track record of successful management• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills• Proficiency and experience in cell cryopreservation, tissue culture, flow cytometry, and cell purification techniques
