Research Analyst

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Research Analyst to support the Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Program with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. The Research Analyst will assist in planning and conducting research projects involving designs, field studies and surveys.
The position will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and is initially funded 6/30/24.

$33.79 per hour

Shifts : Hybrid - 2 days per week in office at 600 S Commonwealth Ave 10th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90005
Qualifications: Knowledge and competency in SAS Statistical Software or similar software, experience in data management- importing/exporting/combining datasets, experience in conducting survey-related statistical analyses, ability to interpret quantitative analysis output and make recommendations; Computer literate with skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Publisher, Excel, and similar programs; Experience in the design, conduct, and evaluation of epidemiologic studies; Experience in mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative designs); Experience in data entry, cleaning, and management of complex data; Experience in data analysis A master's degree in a field of the behavioral or social sciences and one year's post master's research experience -or- A bachelor's degree in a field of the behavioral or social sciences and any combination of relevant education and/or experience totaling three years; and A valid Class C California Drivers License, proof of vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation for travel to a variety of sites throughout Los Angeles County #LAC2006 #SY2006 #RH2006
