Responsibilities
• Perform antimicrobial susceptibility testing• Prepare media for experiments• Conduct in vitro time kill analyses• Prepare and maintain pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic models• Perform molecular evaluations such as PCR, RT-PCR, and sequencing• Conduct HPLC/LCMS and biological assays• Catalog and maintain electronic records of lab bacterial isolates• Analyze and communicate data and analysis for bacterial and antibiotic evaluations• Extract data from lab notebooks for publications and patent applications• Assist with ordering and tracking laboratory supplies and equipment
Requirements
• Master's degree in a related field• No experience required• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15lbs• Ability to work Monday-Friday 8-5 with occasional night and weekend shifts• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
