Job summary
The Research Administrator is responsible for coordinating sponsor projects and ensuring compliance with university policies and sponsor guidelines.They review proposals, develop budgets, and maintain communication and documentation related to submission.The role requires building relationships with sponsors, faculty, staff, and department heads.

Responsibilities
• Serve as the main point of contact and provide guidance on proposal development, sponsor requests, and compliance requirements.• Review and ensure compliance of proposals with university policies and sponsor guidelines.• Act as the authorizing official for proposals.• Maintain organized documentation and communication related to proposal submission.• Create budgets in agency-specific formats.• Identify and disseminate information about funding opportunities.• Match expertise and fundable ideas with potential sponsors.• Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.• Ability to review and edit proposals for content and compliance issues.• Skill in budget development.• Familiarity with contractual terminology.• Ability to manage multiple projects.• Effective and efficient writing and communication skills.• Ability to adapt to changing sponsor guidelines, regulations, policies, and systems.• Foundational knowledge of sponsor agencies and their requirements.
