Town of Telluride- Job Opportunities Rental Housing Administration Manager The Town of Telluride is hiring a Rental Housing Administration Manager. Under the direction of the Community Services Director, the Rental Housing Administration Manager oversees the administrative processes for the day-to-day operations of the Town's rental housing portfolio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Rental Property Management Complete administrative responsibilities related to all of Town's rental housing portfolio Execute lease agreements and renewals; assist with lease terminations Receive, process and track all rental application forms and documents; maintain waiting lists Office Management Provide consistent front desk reception at the Housing Department Maintain accurate tenant and property records, and financial transactions in accordance with Town Records Perform basic accounting procedures Tenant Engagement Collaborate on the creation of monthly tenant newsletters and other communications Support the planning, coordination, and execution of tenant events and engagement initiatives to foster a vibrant community atmosphere. Safety Work safely to prevent accidents. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in a related field or relevant certifications preferred; Bi-lingual skills (English/Spanish) written and oral preferred; two (2) to three (3) years experience in rental property management, hospitality, or related field required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Knowledge of: rental property law; fair housing regulations; basic accounting and financial principles; rules and regulations that pertain to Town rental housing; Town Records Retention schedule.
Skill in: providing excellent customer service; effective written and verbal communication; active listening; organizational and time management skills; multi-tasking; problem solving and making sound decisions under pressure; writing email correspondence; speaking over the telephone; utilizing a variety of different software; operating a computer.
Environmental Factors Work is performed both inside and outside, in and around Town's buildings and facilities. Work is performed primarily inside in a standard office environment. Work performed outside is minimal, and involves walking around different rental properties to post notices; work performed outside is subject to adverse weather conditions.
Physical Factors While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to sit for extended periods of time; may occasionally be required to lift and/or move items weighing up to 20 pounds.
Salary Full-Time Year Round.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Grade: 40
Salary Range: minimum $56,124 - $78,573
