Remote Accountant

Job Description:

Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance is currently seeking a part-time Remote Accountant to join our team in Washington, D.C., US. As an Associate Level Remote Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain financial records for the company- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations- Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting- CPA or relevant certification preferred- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent communication and analytical skills- Resilient and hardworking personality traits- Innovative and persuasive soft skills
