Remote Accountant

Job Description:

Prudential Financial is seeking a motivated and resourceful Remote Accountant to join our team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. This part-time position is ideal for individuals at the Associate Level with at least 2 years of experience in accounting. As a Remote Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial data, preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:1. Manage financial data and prepare accurate and timely financial statements.2. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.3. Collaborate with team members to analyze financial information and make strategic recommendations.4. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.5. Prepare and file tax documents in a timely manner.6. Research and implement best practices in accounting and financial management.7. Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders.8. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.2. CPA certification preferred.3. 2+ years of experience in accounting.4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.7. Creative thinking and research abilities.8.
