Summary/Objective
The project manager , is responsible for ensuring that each remodeling project is completed in a timely manner, within or under the estimated budget and to the client's satisfaction. The project manager accomplishes this by directing all field employees, subcontractors, material suppliers, inspectors, and others in the efforts needed to achieve these goals. This includes training and coaching field employees, as well as organizing and scheduling their work.

Preferred Education and Experience
1-3 years of experience in
Remodeling/Contruction
Project Management prefered but not requiered.
Bachelors in Construction or Project Management fields prefered but not requiered.
College courses or equivalent experience/related training and certifications.
Essential Functions

Reviews final plans and specifications to ensure timely filing of building permits.
Orders all material and tracks delivery times assuring that material arrives at the job -site when needed.
Writes work orders and maintains
specifications/requisition
records of these activities for each job.
Meets with salespersons and customers in a preconstruction conference to discuss scope, potential problems, and decisions made by the customers.
Maintains frequent and honest communication with the customer and ceo throughout the job. Communicates with the customer in person (while checking the job), by phone or email.
Coordinates with the sales department on substantial/non routine work change orders.
Conducts a pre-completion walk-through with the customer and subcontractors to prepare a quality control check list. Expedites the completion of the check list and follows up until the final payment check is collected.
Verifies that requests are properly allocated to a job.
Coordinates all necessary inspections during the course of a job
Fosters a positive work environment for all sub contractors, staff, and clients involved in the project process.
Holds
meetings
to keep subcontractors informed and to discuss and solve problems. .
Reviews job cost reports as needed. Researches cost overruns, if any.
Oversees the maintenance of all vehicles, tools, and equipment. Schedules maintenance and prompt repairs when necessary.
Submits a project report to management upon completion of project.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional and ethical environment attached to mission and values of Dgranite.
This role routinely uses office equipment such as cell phones and ipads.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and drive for long extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to sit, kneel, and crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are depending on project needs. Occasional evenings and Saturdays may be required, as job duties demand. Sundays are observed as a day of rest, so you can expect to be off!
