Company has quickly become a top choice for clients in the construction, oil & gas, renewable energy, electric utility, and government sectors.Remediation Program Manager Responsibilities:Program management of multiple, simultaneous remediation projects for clients in different industriesLead Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments following ASTM International Standard E 1527-13 and ASTM Rural Standard E 2247-16Experience conducting and managing environmental due diligence assessmentsProvide technical support for site assessments and remediationDesign, installation, and operation of treatment systems for site remediation.Coordinate scheduling, data transfer, and reporting with field staff and project managersCreate new proposals, project scopes, budgets, and designsExperience developing, implementing, and managing environmental, health, and safety policies and supporting culture of workplace safetyAdvises teams on proper interpretation and implementation of environmental regulationsMentor and provide technical guidance to junior staffConsult with federal, state, and local agencies on regulatory issuesBusiness development and management of client relationsCreate, review, and improve client deliverablesWrite technical reports, scientific documents, and client memosPerform additional assignments as necessaryHazardous waste characterizationRequired Qualifications:Applicants should be highly organized, an effective communicator, and be willing to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Attention to detail, creative problem solving, and ability to motivate teams are essential qualities.Degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fieldProfessional Geologist or Engineer10+ years of site assessment and remediation projects10+ years of experience with federal, state, and local EHS regulatory complianceExperience with Public Safety (OPS)Experience with evaluating, planning, and performing investigations and remediation for multiple locations and clientsExpert in advising clients in environmental liability transfer risk and opportunity assessment, and litigation support.Demonstrated experience with increasing responsibilities leading teams in a management roleDriven to achieve continuous improvementExperience in implementing process improvement principlesExperience with on-call contracts for environmental services for state and municipal government agencies.Knowledge of federal and state regulatory programs (CERCLA, RCRA).Capable interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a scientific and non-scientific audienceAbility to work in locations that feature rough terrain and to enter and work within facilities that include limited accessibility, moving machinery, and other conditions typical of industrial facilitiesInterest and proficiency in investigative work, with high attention to detailEffective self-leadership with results orientationAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instruction, work independently, and comply with company policiesSelf-sufficient, self-motivated, and ability to work under pressure of deadlinesValid driver's license and proven safe driving recordAbility to pass a HAZWOPER physical and be medically able to wear a tight-fitting respiratorThis role is subject to a client-mandated drug/alcohol testing policy.
