WHAT WE NEED: Reliability Specialist Sigma Field Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced equipment specialist to lead reliability improvement and maintenance projects for a range of clients on various turbomachinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in rotating equipment and be able to provide expert advice and guidance to clients.
Responsibilities: Lead rotating equipment reliability improvement and maintenance projects for clients. Conduct technical assessments and inspections of rotating equipment to identify potential issues and areas for improvement. Develop and implement maintenance and reliability strategies to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime. Provide technical support and guidance to clients on rotating equipment issues. Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements. Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Support resources in the field with technical support. Develop job books with equipment specifications prior to equipment outage. WHO WE NEED: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in rotating equipment maintenance and reliability. Strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment, including turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, and generators. Experience in developing and implementing maintenance and reliability strategies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clients and team members. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Willingness to travel to client sites as needed. Professional certifications such as Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) or Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) are a plus. OEM background is a plus.
