Own the site's Mechanical Integrity program for fixed and rotating equipment Leads strategic and tactical reliability efforts to achieve TEEP & OEE targets Drives a continuous improvement mindset , actively identifies opportunities for upgrades/improvement and supports implementation where possible. Expectations within this role include: actively supporting and providing technical expertise to Operations, Maintenance, large and small Capital Projects, Turn Arounds and Construction activities Provides technical oversight and recommendations for fixed and rotating equipment. This role will develop equipment care strategies for key Rotating and Fixed Equipment classes. Supports complex troubleshooting efforts as they arise and provide off-hours support as required. Participate in incident investigations involving rotating and fixed equipment failures and to leverage your depth of technical and analytical skills in leading Root Cause Analysis (RCAs) . Also as the Reliability Program owner, the candidate will be accountable for management of the site Reliability RCA program, ensure RCAs meeting the right threshold of cost impact are investigated and corrective actions captured. Understanding and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, Company requirements, and relevant standard site work practices. Updates program documentation and systems accordingly Owns repair quality assurance Networks inside and outside the enterprise to identify emerging technologies Provides insight on vendor selection through procurement Provide technical input and support for Process Safety Management as well as supporting site Process Safety Audits, ISO Audits, PHA assessments, RCM studies and more. Ensures that appropriate risk mitigation strategies using (Inspection, Testing, Preventive Maintenance, and Sparing) are in place for key assets. Tracks all equipment inspections and ensure MOCs are in place and initiated by the area equipment owners as required by policy. This is reported on during the MI steering committee meeting. Tracks key KPIs for Reliability at the site and own the site ITPM program. BS Engineering or experience in lieu of engineering degree 5+ years of job related experience in an industrial facility preferably chemicals, polymer, petrochemical, pharma or pulp and paper manufacturing Knowledge of Reliability analysis techniques Experience with application of API and ASME standards Experience developing long term reliability strategies Must be proficient in Microsoft: Excel, Word and Outlook. Effective Communication Skills Preferred Qualifications: BS Mechanical Engineering 5+ years of experience as a Fixed or Rotating Equipment Reliability Engineer in a plant setting. Experience at a chemical, polymer, petrochemical, pharma or pulp and paper manufacturing facility SAP Plant Maintenance Experience Strong knowledge in the design and application of all types of fixed and rotating equipment (engineering application, maintenance, repair, operation, monitoring, testing, and documentation).
