Chewy is seeking an Investor Relations Manager who will report into the Head of Investor Relations. This is a highly visible role that will partner closely with Chewy's C-suite and other leaders by owning analyses and externally facing materials for our quarterly earnings calls, investor events, and other cross-functional projects focused on articulating Chewy's story. The Manager will also assist in managing relationships with investors and analysts.
The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, prior public company investor relations, equity research and/or investment banking experience, and ability to work with a diverse group of senior leaders, including Chewy's C-Suite.
What You'll Do: Assist in executing all aspects of Chewy's investor relations efforts Support all aspects of the earnings process, including analyzing quarterly performance, drafting of earnings script, shareholder letter and press release, as well as preparation of Q&A Collaborate with various teams across the organization to gather information supporting the quarterly earnings process and other investor relations initiatives Provide insights to Chewy's executive team by staying close to trends and developments impacting the capital markets, pet industry and competitive landscape Organize and manage IR events, including quarterly earnings cycle, investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and investor calls, by preparing briefings and overseeing event planning Maintain and develop processes to continually improve investor targeting Track sellside analyst coverage including estimates, ratings, reports, and other relevant data Maintain IR website and manage vendor relationships with event platforms and market data firms Lead investor relations workstreams on other relevant projects such as major product announcements or financial transactions Assist in producing presentations such as earnings summaries, shareholder feedback and IR engagement summaries for senior leadership and the Board What You'll Need: 5+ years of public company investor relations, equity research and/or investment banking experience Graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic / professional experience eCommerce, technology or consumer sector experience preferred Strong understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and analyze data to drive investor relations strategies Superior analytical and problem-solving skill set, fluency in performing financial analyses, deep understanding of valuation methodologies used by investors, and familiarity with both financial and operating metrics Experience working in a demanding and fast-paced environment with highly motivated and driven professionals Ability to handle multiple workstreams and manage complex cross-organization assignments with multiple stakeholders Good oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Fast thinker with excellent judgment High level of integrity and ethics Travel may be required Chewy is committed to equal opportunity.
