Reimbursement Accountant

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Reimbursement Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and recording of reimbursement entries in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and record reimbursement transactions in the general ledger
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws and regulations
Reconcile reimbursement accounts and resolve any discrepancies
Monitor and review reimbursement claims and contracts
Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues
Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
2+ years of relevant experience in accounting
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software
