Rehab Tech

We have an amazing opportunity for a Rehab Tech!The Rehab Tech assists the facility and therapy department to direct daily operations and maintain compliance and regulatory guidelines. The Rehabilitation Tech may assist with treatments only when under the direct supervision of a therapist. Refer to Medicare Regulations and state law for the definition of direct supervision.Responsibilities:Complete clerical and patient, client, team member related dutiesParticipate in department meetings and in facility meetings as assignedPerform clerical work as directed, including computerized activitiesConsistently attends work and provides appropriate notice for scheduled vacationsAnswer and direct phone callsDevelop and maintain a filing systemMaintain compliance and regulatory driven duties such as obtaining physician signatures, maintain quarterly screen compliance and any other State or CMS regulationsCoordinate work activities with members of other departments and other staff within the rehabilitation departmentDemonstrate a positive attitude and team building approach with all patients, clients, team membersProvide general support to visitorsCoordinate therapy schedule with nursing if neededAssist patients, clients, team members with issues or needsAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyParticipate in facility performance improvement programsPerform other duties as requestedReport any unusual incidents to AdministratorAssist in maintaining the cleanliness of the treatment areas and departmentAssist with maintaining an adequate stock of supplies and equipmentRequirements:High School graduate or equivalent.CNA certificate if required by state law.We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
