Entry-level Regulatory Affairs opportunity with an industry the leader in organic and natural plant-based flavors and extracts!
Title : Regulatory Assistant (contract/temp)
Location : Cincinnati, OH (REMOTE)
Length of Assignment : 6 months
Shift : Mon – Fri | 8am-5pm
Purpose : Provide regulatory support to internal and external customers to ensure that all local, federal, and global regulatory requirements and compliance are fulfilled, according to legal requirements and corporate guidelines.
Core Responsibilities Regular verbal and electronic communication with R&D, Sales, vendors, and customers to support the growth and productivity of the business.
Distribute tasks through a shard inbox to a team of qualified specialists.
Communicate with vendors for new/existing raw material data and documents.
Data maintenance including interpretation of vendor documents, and creation and maintenance of technical regulatory data in the company database for purchased ingredients and finished products.
Maintain departmental SOPs.
Qualifications Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines.
Demonstrate high degree of coordinating- organizing- planning- verbal and written communication- clerical- administrative and computer skills, including competency in MS Office products.
Working knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements
Basic understanding of components of appropriate business processes and internal systems
Basic knowledge of regulatory systems
University / Bachelor's Degree in food, biological or physical sciences or relevant field.
1-2 years of related regulatory experience
