This
M/S
unit is a 24-bed unit with adult, geriatric, adolescent patient population. Medical or GYN overflow patients are cared for on this Medical/Surgical Unit. The variety of cases seen include abdominal, endoscopic, ENT, general, gynecologic, ophthalmic, orthopedic, thoracic, urologic, vascular, and plastic surgeries. Medical patients are admitted with CHF, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, atrial fib and chest pain.

The Registered Nurse develops, implements and evaluates plans of care for specific patient populations. Coordinates and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care. Possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
Requires authorization from the State Board of Nursing of eligibility topractice as a Registered Nurse Applicant. Meets specialty requirements as noted. BLS required within 90 days of hire. New Hire Education Requirement:
