Responsibilities
• Assist in vaginal delivery and recovery• Participate as members of the obstetrical emergency team• Triage outpatients• Circulate in the operating room for cesarean birth and fetal surgery• Care for low risk to high-risk antepartum patients• Perform comprehensive maternal fetal nursing assessments• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans• Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families• Incorporate patient/family teaching into nursing practice
Requirements
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support obtained within 90 days of employment start date• Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date• Neonate Resuscitate obtained within 90 days of employment start date• Registered Nurse - Missouri Licensure or Compact State Licensure
