Responsibilities
• Provide nursing services, treatments, and preventative procedures• Be knowledgeable about different levels of care and when to offer them• Utilize nursing process to provide professional care• Evaluate effectiveness of hospice services on an ongoing basis• Perform evaluations and informational visits• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans• Foster teamwork, respect, and collaboration among staff• Participate in community outreach and professional development• Collaborate with department leaders to optimize organizational effectiveness
Requirements
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing• Bachelor's degree in Nursing• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience, Hospice experience preferred• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities• Effective communication and interpersonal skills• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other healthcare software• Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to providing quality end-of-life care
