Located in Largo in the heart of Prince George's County, our new state-of-the-art regional medical center (UM Capital Region Medical Center) will provide improved access to primary and ambulatory care services, and serve as a tertiary care center for critically ill patients. In addition, our new space will allow us to expand our offerings as a community partner to help improve the health status of Prince George's County residents.

Full-time / Day-Shift (7:30am - 8:00pm)

NOW OFFERING up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus!!  Clinical Practice/Care Delivery Novice; focus of clinical practice/care delivery is on own learning Uses/applies evidence based practice; accesses appropriate resources Follows unit based protocols, documentation, pathways, etc Involves patient and family in care; follows tenants of patient and family centered care. Conducts patient/family needs assessment; initiates and documents patient/family education Assists with precepting students, PCT or peer for isolated days (not accountable for entire orientation); may assist with share days or shadow days PRN Professional Development Ability to practice and adhere to the guidelines specified in the Role of the Professional Nurse Job Charter/Description and Commitment to Excellence Behavioral Standards.. Responsible for accessing education applicable to self-professional development; focus on completion of competencies appropriate for patient care setting. Successful completion of orientation within unit specific time frame or within 12 months (18 months for those with an identified development plan). Qualifications Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland, or eligible to practice due to Compact state agreements outlined through the MD Board of Nursing, is required.
