Position Responsibilities: Document assessment findings and provide preoperative coordination of records, and information; both medical and demographic, in order to provide safe surgical care Accurately schedule surgical procedure utilizing operating software Provide patient education essential to an efficient and safe surgical experience Maintaining patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA rules and regulations Requirements: Iowa RN license is required Previous preoperative patient health assessment experience Knowledge of nursing principals and protocols for care of surgical patient Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively and accurately, detail oriented Outstanding customer service skills Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills - ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds ORA Orthopedics is the Quad Cities largest and most comprehensive orthopedic provider, proudly offering an integrated continuum of orthopedic care that includes orthopedic sub-specialty clinics, walk-in care at our Urgent OrthoCARE clinics, diagnostic imaging, bracing, physical therapy, pharmacy and outpatient surgery.
