Job Details Job Location : NB - OTP - North Bend, OR Position Type : Full Time Education Level : 2 Year Degree Salary Range : $72,000.00 - $104,000.00 Salary Job Shift : Day Description Adapt Integrated Health Care is looking for a Registered Nurse to join their OTP team! The nurse will be required to administer medications as ordered by the Medical Director of the OTP or other Qualified Medical Professional under the supervision of the Medical Director. Must maintain accurate accounting of all medication received and dispensed. The nurse will be responsible for safekeeping all medication stock and the records required by the DEA, FDA, and Board of Pharmacy. Nurses will also be responsible for urine collection and processing, reading test results as ordered by the Medical Director of the OTP, and the completion of all forms involved in these procedures. The nurse must maintain professional standards and follow the treatment policies of the organization as well as Federal and State laws and regulations.
Primary Responsibilities: Assure that proper procedures in medication ordering, receipt, reconciliation and reporting meets all Federal standards including the DEA, FDA, and State regulations. Keeps all medication ordering, receipts, reconciliations and daily reporting organized and prepared for audits according to DEA, FDA, and State regulations. Administer medication as ordered by the Medical Director or other LMP's assigned to the program and maintain accurate accounting of all medication received (from supplier) and dispensed (to the patient). Provide supervision and oversight to Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and Toxicology Urinalysis Technician to assure that proper procedures are followed at all times. Become and maintain proficiency in use of the electronic health care record and accurately reconcile daily dosing. Become and maintain proficiency with automated dosing equipment and the care, operation, maintenance, and calibration of the dosing technology. Be responsible for the safekeeping of all medication stock and the records required by the DEA, FDA, and the Adapt OTP. Complete urinalysis toxicology testing, recordkeeping, and reporting as directed. The nurse will dedicate a minimum of 80 percent of regularly scheduled work hours to activities directly related the administration of medication and positive interactions with patients. The nurse will observe, intervene, report, and engage in discussions and determinations of patient treatment plans. Attend and complete all assigned training. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Oregon 1 year experience in acute care, critical care, emergency room, mental health, substance abuse treatment or correctional health care setting preferred.
