Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a Full-time Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital in Fort Johnson, LA
This position offers: Full-time opportunity, 40 hours/week Opportunity to provide care to our active duty military and their families 12 hour shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and a 4 hour shift either Monday or Thursday); holiday schedule varies Requirements: Current RN License in any of the 50 states Minimum of 1 year of Circulating OR (RN) experience required Active BLS certification  Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification  U.S. Citizen Key Duties: Assist the surgical team during procedures by providing instruments, supplies, and sterile equipment. Monitor patients' vital signs, anesthesia administration, and overall condition throughout surgery, intervening as needed to maintain safety and stability. Transition patients to the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) or other recovery areas following surgery. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all aspects of patient care. Communicate effectively with members of the surgical team, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. For More Information Contact: Lauren Larkin
