Saint Joseph Living Center (SJLC) was established in 1988 and is situated on 9 scenic acres in Windham, CT. Sponsored by the Diocese of Norwich, our facility offers short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and end-of-life care. While SJLC is a Catholic faith-based community, we welcome residents of all religious backgrounds. Our suburban setting provides privacy, relaxation, and accessibility, with ample parking. The center features both indoor and outdoor amenities, including a beautiful chapel with daily mass at 11:00 am, an enclosed courtyard with gardens, and a Koi Pond.

Job Description:
Saint Joseph Living Center is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to care for our patients on all shifts. The ideal candidates are responsible, well-trained professionals able to deliver high-quality nursing care with minimal supervision. The goal is to promote residents' well-being by providing high-quality care in a home-like environment where the resident comes first. New RN graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities: Monitor patients' conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care Observe and interpret patients' symptoms and communicate them to physicians Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections, etc.) and fill in patients' charts Adjust and administer patients' medications and provide treatments according to physicians' orders Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds, etc.) Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences, etc. Skills: Proven experience as a registered nurse Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsible and compassionate Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills Patient with excellent problem-solving skills Valid nursing license Compensation & Benefits: Competitive pay Evening and Weekend Differentials Paid vacation and holidays Health benefits Sign-on Bonus for shifts of 24 hours or more Employee referral program Retirement plan options On-site training Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Life insurance Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Work Schedule: Day shift, Night shift, and Overnights Rotating weekends Physical Setting: Long-term care Qualifications: RN License (Required) How to Apply:
