Responsibilities
• Ensure high quality, patient-centered care and coordination• Manage all functions in the unit/department during designated shift• Direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care• Serve as a resource person for staff• Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery• Assist with staff scheduling and inventory control• Assist with admission and discharge processes• Collaborate with other managers and subject matter experts• Recommend courses of action for training, development, and conflict resolution• Support facility's efforts to improve engagement
Requirements
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred• 1+ years applicable experience required• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC certifications required• Additional certifications preferred (PALS, NRP, NVCI)• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
